Request for Access to Record

Overview

This form is used to request access to records held by our organization in accordance with the Promotion of Access to Information Act (PAIA). You have the right to access any information that we hold about you or that may be relevant to your needs.

Who Can Request Access?

Any person or entity may request access to records. This includes South African citizens, permanent residents, foreign nationals, and legal entities such as companies or trusts.

Information Required

When submitting a request, you must provide sufficient detail about the records you are seeking, including the reference number (if known), any further particulars, and the form of access required (inspection, copies, or other format).

Fees and Payment

A request fee may be payable when submitting your request. Additional access fees may apply depending on the form of access granted. You will be notified of the applicable fees before processing your request.

Processing Time

Your request will be processed within 30 days from the date of receipt. We will notify you of the decision and any fees payable. In some cases, this period may be extended by an additional 30 days if necessary.
